I moved from a spacious home to a condo, and suddenly my wife and I had nowhere to put anything. We rented a storage unit — and I hated every minute of it. Paying monthly for the privilege of digging through boxes just to find our Christmas decorations. There had to be a better way.

I tried shelves. I tried cabinets. Nothing worked for the bulky stuff — suitcases, bins, gear. All it did was make the clutter look more organized while taking up valuable floor space.

Then one day I looked up.

All of this overhead space above my head was just sitting there doing nothing. A question hit me: "What if I built an overhead storage system without drilling any holes?"

Existing solutions relied entirely on attaching to the ceiling. I needed overhead storage without depending on a rental facility's structure to carry the load. That simple question evolved into ARackAbove.

I spent several years prototyping, engineering, and patenting the only floor-supported, freestanding, portable overhead storage rack in the world. No drilling. No ladders. No damage. No contractor. Just strong, functional storage that goes wherever you need it.

I added over 40 square feet of storage to our 10x10 unit, cleared the floor, and got our space back.
